We will update you as soon as possible on the new offers, changes in the opening hours and temporary closures. Just check the latest info before visiting an attraction in the Prague CoolPass mobile App or on our webpage. Look for actual tips and alerts for each attraction, as well as recent news.

EXHIBITION OF CZECH CROWN JEWELS

The exhibition The Bohemian Crown Jewels – Habsburgs 500 marks the 500th anniversary of Ferdinand I of Habsburg becoming King of Bohemia. Discover the fascinating story of the Bohemian Crown Jewels, from their centuries at Karlštejn Castle through their wartime transfer to Vienna and their ceremonial return to Prague in 1791, when they became a lasting symbol of Czech history and statehood.

The exhibition is open to the public from 19 to 28 September.
15–18 September are reserved for pre-booked school groups only.

Admission is free.

Due to preparations for the Bohemian Crown Jewels exhibition, the Old Royal Palace will be closed to regular visitors from 4 September to 1 October 2026 (inclusive).

From 15 to 28 September 2026, the palace will be accessible only as part of the Crown Jewels exhibition:

15–18 September: pre-booked school groups only
19–28 September: open to the public
