Bohemia Goose is a brand new concept of restaurant and brewery in one. The tradition of brewing beer on the premises of this house dates back to 1434, when the "right to brew" was granted to the maltster Vanek Zpěvák. Subsequently, however, this tradition was interrupted for a long time and unfortunately eventually forgotten. The house was then built in its present form in 1902 by the well-known Prague architect and builder František Buldra. In 1993, the tradition of brewing beer was revived with the establishment of the Novoměstský pivovar, which welcomed fans of the golden beverage until 2020.
In 2023, a new story of the restaurant at Vodičkova 20 begins. The premises have undergone a complete renovation. Not only the interior, but also the brewery was built from the ground up. Thanks to the new brewhouses, stills and lager tanks, you can enjoy the beer that is prepared exclusively from Czech ingredients - like Czech malt and Žatec hops.
Besides, as the name Bohemia Goose suggests, it’s not just a place to taste good beer - you can also indulge in a carefully prepared menu where goose and duck specialties play a major role. Don't wait for St. Martin's Day - you can enjoy a roast goose with dumplings and cabbage every day at Bohemia Goose!
