You will find the Letecké Muzeum on the north-eastern outskirts of Prague, at the military airport Kbely – the first aviation base established in Czechoslovakia.
The collection includes 275 aircraft, of which approximately 110 are on public display – available from May through October. Most of the exhibits were designed and built locally and represent excellent showpieces of military planes. They predominantly date back to the 20th century (WWI and WWII) and also include the 1960s collection of supersonic jet fighters.
Apart from these impressive machines, you can see lots of related artefacts, like uniforms, banners, engines, weapons and other memorabilia.
