BEER. It is a drink which made Czechs famous. And they drink more beer per capita than any other country in the world. That is why we decided in 2010 to create this beer experience in the center of Prague. In 2013 we opened the museum and in 2023 moved it to a bigger space in Husova 21 - so you could discover the production process of Czech beer, learn the history, soak up the scent of hops, and get you the opportunity to taste various kinds of special Czech beers.
You will start with welcome beer poured by our brewmaster, and with your senses already stimulated you can start the tour. You will learn about the history and secrets behind making beer. Along the way you will learn from historical artifacts and video presentations.
Our brewery model will explain to you how malt and beer is made. You can experience the real smell of hops and barley. Get to know the revolutionized history of bottling and pouring. The tour would not be complete without beer tasting. In beautiful 13th century cellars, you can enjoy another two Czech beers, served to you in contrary by automatic machine in our Beer Chapel. And then have a look at pubs from the 1920s and communist times. Do not expect a brewery tour, just a breathtaking story of the BEER experienced through all your senses.
